Dear Residents of Edson & Yellowhead County,

On behalf of the Arts Centre for Edson Society, thank you for the support you have provided us over the last six years to develop a new performing arts facility.

Regardless of the results of a recent poll, ACES is more than aware that this project is years away from completion.

With this in mind, ACES believes not just in our project, but in the fruition of other proposed projects as well. We have always been open to working with other groups and individuals to achieve not only our dream, but also other initiatives that will better the quality of life for our community. This is our home and we do not want people to be divided on this issue, instead we believe these projects can all be completed by working together.

To do this, we encourage positive discussion and cooperation throughout the community with the many groups and individuals who are interested in seeing new development in our region. Thus far, ACES has had positive interactions with the Town of Edson, Yellowhead County, and has built an excellent partnership with the Edson & District Recreation Society. In the coming months, we hope to build positive relationships with many other groups including the Edson Business Support Network.

ACES believes all these groups and many others have Edson’s best interests at heart.

In conclusion, there are three important C’s that ACES truly advocates: cooperation, coordination, and compromise. Through these ideas, we can all help to make Edson an even better place to live.

Sincerely,

Peter Taylor
